New Yoga for Athletes class beginning
Thursday, 14th January, 7.30-8.30pm
Do you play rugby, football or hockey? Do you run, cycle or hit the gym on a regular basis? This class is designed for you. Fit and sporty people sometimes push too hard when training or competing, sometimes leading to injury.
Open to ladies and gents – this challenging course is designed to teach you to listen to your body and make intelligent choices about how far you should push, and when you should back off.
Yoga for Athletes focuses on improving flexibility, core strength and mental focus to help support your chosen sport or fitness regime, whilst also teaching you how you can use the breath, not only as a performance tool, but also as a way of calming your mind and your body.
This is a 6-week course for £36.00. The class is at Derby Rugby Club and has free parking.
I have 12 yoga mats that students can use; however, these are lent on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring your own mat if you have it.
