Use Yoga to raise awareness of PTSD

I have been studying Trauma Sensitive Yoga over the past year for people with PTSD and complex trauma, so it is a subject close to my heart. All my yoga classes have elements of trauma sensitive teaching, whether you realise it or not!

22 push-ups in 22 days

I have set myself ‘the 22 push-ups in 22 days’, strength challenge for November to raise awareness of military veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Statistics show that 22 veterans commit suicide every single day – 22 too many  

The 22 push-ups can be full, knee or wall push-ups; at the moment I can only do 8 full push-ups so I will need to do a mixture, but I am aiming to do 22 full press-ups by November 22nd. I will post my – probably very slow – progress every 3 or 4 days on Instagram. My first 22 will be on 1st November.
